Shut Up, Rory!

There was a t-shirt for sale from glarkware that said "Shut Up, Rory!" Because at the end of the last season of Gilmore Girls, and the beginning of this season, Rory was being incredibly stupid and annoying and not talking to her mom and had dropped out of school and blah blah blah. She's back on the right track now, though, so you don't have to worry. I totally wanted the shirt, because I love the Gilmore Girls. It seemed a little silly, though, since it cost $20 and I'd be embarrassed to wear it outside of my house.

I am also a little embarrassed to admit that I am super excited about tonight's episode. Not that I know what is going to happen or anything, but they've been on break for, oh, ever, and I am dying for another fix. Tonight is like the best night of TV - there's a new Gilmore Girls AND a new House. I heart House.

Unfortunately, I will have to trust TiVo to do a good job and record those shows, because I have a paper to write for my History of English Prose class. It's just a little two-pager to show we did the reading but, considering that the reading has been pretty challenging for me, I'm anticipating a rough go of it. Seriously, I have never considered style so seriously before. Is style outside of meaning? Or is it intertwined and inseparable? If style is a part of meaning, can we even talk about it? It's fascinating stuff and I'm sure I'm not doing it justice here. That's why I'm taking the class.
